Let’s get the basic demographic questions out of the way first:
Am I a woman?
YES.
Am I a mother?
Yes. YES. YES! And YESSSSSSSS.
Do I feel like the world has done a great job creating supportive spaces for women?
NO.
Now, before anyone comes for me, hear me out! —I know we’ve come a long way.
When I think about the generations before us, particularly my grandmother and my mother, there are conversations happening today that simply weren't happening then.
We talk more openly about periods.
There are more resources for girls experiencing their first period.
Breastfeeding and postpartum support are becoming more visible.
Period products have evolved beyond the traditional pad and tampon. We now have menstrual cups, discs, period underwear, rings and other options that give women more choices about how they care for their bodies.
And, perhaps, we're slowly breaking down the idea that menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause and the changes that come with being a woman are things we should be embarrassed to talk about.
All of that is progress. And it matters.
But I still believe we have a long way to go.
Because Being a Woman Doesn't Stop at Your Period
In 2026, we're still having a hard time being honest about what women actually experience throughout their lives.
We're getting better at talking about postpartum—but how often are women actually given the space to experience postpartum?
We're told about the six-week checkup.
We're told that we're "cleared."
We're surrounded by conversations about the infamous six-week bounce back.
But what happens when six weeks comes and you don't feel like yourself? Or, when you feel you have to prioritize your partner's needs before you are really ready.
What happens when your body looks different, your hormones are all over the place, you're exhausted, you're trying to care for a baby, you're trying to maintain a relationship, you're trying to work, and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you're quietly wondering:
"Who am I?"
Motherhood can be a blessing.
It can also be isolating.
Both things can be true at the same time.
And I think women deserve permission to say that.
There are moments in motherhood when you don't necessarily want someone to tell you to "enjoy every moment." Sometimes you need someone to acknowledge that this is hard.
Sometimes you need information.
Sometimes you need resources.
Sometimes you need products that make your life a little easier.
And sometimes you simply need a space where you don't have to explain why you're struggling to recognize yourself.
And Then We Keep Changing
Here's the thing about being a woman:
We don't just go through puberty, have babies, and eventually reach menopause.
Our bodies and our lives are constantly changing.
Our needs change.
Our hormones change.
Our responsibilities change.
Our identities change.
And sometimes, we have to find ourselves again.
And again.
And again.
The girl who gets her first period at 11 may eventually become the teenager trying to understand her changing body.
She becomes a young woman learning what it means to care for herself.
Maybe she becomes a wife.
Maybe she becomes a mother.
Maybe she doesn't (this is whole conversation by itself).
Maybe she experiences pregnancy.
Maybe she experiences loss.
Maybe she navigates postpartum.
Maybe she decides motherhood isn't for her.
Maybe she spends years balancing work, family, relationships and everyone else's needs.
And eventually, she may find herself navigating perimenopause and menopause—another major transition that can bring changes that affect her body, emotions, sleep, confidence, relationships and overall sense of self.
Every stage deserves care.
Not just the stages that society has decided are worth talking about.
This Is Where OLLI + VYN Comes In
I created OLLI + VYN because I believe feminine care should be about more than managing a period.
It should be about caring for the whole woman.
Our mission is simple:
To provide thoughtful products, education and support for women at every age and every stage of life.
That means creating products that meet women where they are.
It means creating resources that help women understand what is happening to their bodies.
It means having conversations that make women feel less alone.
It means acknowledging that feminine care isn't one-size-fits-all.
And it means recognizing that sometimes the thing a woman needs isn't another product on a shelf.
Sometimes she needs information.
Sometimes she needs community.
Sometimes she needs encouragement.
Sometimes she needs permission to slow down.
And sometimes she just needs someone to say:
"Girl, you're not the only one."
Rethinking What Feminine Care Means
When we hear the words "feminine care," most of us immediately think about pads, tampons, liners and other menstrual products.
And yes, those things are important.
But feminine care is so much bigger than that.
It's the first period.
It's learning what your cycle means.
It's figuring out which products work for your body.
It's navigating pregnancy and postpartum.
It's learning how to care for yourself when you're caring for everyone else.
It's recognizing when your body is changing.
It's having conversations about hormones, aging, intimacy, confidence and wellness.
It's navigating perimenopause.
It's menopause.
It's the emotional, physical and sometimes unexpected transitions that come with simply being a woman.
Feminine care is care for the woman—not just the body part.
And that's the perspective behind Olli + Vyn.
There Will Never Be "Enough"
I know there will never be enough products.
There will never be enough information.
There will never be enough resources.
There will never be enough supportive spaces.
There will always be another woman who needs an answer to a question she is afraid to ask.
Another mother who needs to know she's not failing.
Another teenager who needs someone to make her first period feel a little less scary.
Another woman entering menopause who is wondering why no one prepared her for this.
Another woman who has spent so much of her life taking care of everyone else that she has forgotten what it feels like to take care of herself.
And that's okay.
Because maybe the goal isn't to create everything.
Maybe the goal is to create something that makes women feel seen, supported and cared for.
That's what I want OLLI + VYN to be.
A brand that grows with women.
A resource women can come back to.
A place where the conversations can be honest.
A place where the products are thoughtful.
A place where care doesn't end when your period does.
Welcome to the Next Chapter of OLLI + VYN
OLLI + VYN is relaunching because I believe there is more work to do.
We're expanding the conversation around what feminine care can look like.
We're creating products and resources for different seasons of a woman's life—from that first period to postpartum and motherhood, to perimenopause and menopause, and all of the moments in between.
Because there is no single way to be a woman.
There is no single timeline.
There is no single experience.
And there certainly isn't a single definition of what it means to care for yourself.
OLLI + VYN was created for all of it.
For the transitions.
For the questions.
For the uncomfortable conversations.
For the celebrations.
For the days when you feel completely confident—and the days when you're trying to figure yourself out all over again.
Because feminine care should evolve as we do.
And this is just the beginning.
Welcome to OLLI+ VYN.
Care for every age. Every stage. Every version of you.
